On March 7th, rescue personnel from 41, 21, 44, LC 8-1 & 7-9 completed
the Pennsylvania Department of Health - Special Vehicle Rescue Technician course.
A total of 31 firefighters completed the class. The practial exam was
held at Water and Lemon Streets behind the Wrightsville Borough Office. Crews
completed various rescue techniques, with larger vehicles such as dump trucks
and tractor trailers. A special thanks goes out to Charlie's Towing in York,
D. A. Landis Trucking Inc. of Lancaster and Rivers towing in Red Lion.
Also, thanks to County Line Quarry for the donation of the dump truck and the
41 support staff for providing everyone with lunch! |
