•4.1.06: 8-1 Honors Membership - Engine Transfers To 7-19• |

By Scott Livelsberger, Assistant Fire Chief |
On Saturday evening Chief Urey, Deputy Chief Smeltzer, and Assistant Chief Livelsberger, were honored to attend a membership banquet held for our brother department located directly across the river, LC Station 8-1. The banquet was held at the Sherwood Knoll - Comfort Inn in Lancaster County. The evening was very entertaining, and the 41 house congratulates Lieutenant Rick Anderson, Auxiliary member Elsie Hower, and Firefighter John Neff on their awards. While the banquet for 8-1 was going on, Engine 41 transfered to LC station 7-19 (East Hempfield) led by Capt. Livelsberger, along with Rescue 7-9 (East Donegal) while they were honoring their members during their membership banquet. Captain Livelsberger and his crew would like to thank station 7-19 for their hospitality and treating the crew to their meal at Hot Z's. Since the Engine was at 7-19, R41 and R41-2 was staffed with 8 at the station and covered a call for Columbia 8-1 while their banquet was being held. A reported building fire at Andy's Markets was held to Station's 8-4 and 8-7. |
