•4.13.06: Gas Main Sheered By Vehicle•
By Eric Oberdorff, Firefighter
At 14:37, The Wrightsville sirens blared (or not) for an Auto Accident into a structure, with a ruptured gas line on N. Fourth St. in Wrightsville.  Multiple non-activation of pagers and the sirens slowed the response of 41 equipment by a couple of minutes.  When all said and done, Rescue 41 responded, and also had 13 personnel working on the scene.  Crews on scene worked to control the leak and also metered the exposure buildings.
The remaining of the 3 Points, Lancaster Engine & Truck 8-1 (Columbia #1) and Rescue 7-9 (Maytown) assisted with the incident as well.  Thanks for the always quick and professional response!
