At 02:47, The RIT team out of 41 was dispatched on the first alarm assignment for
a structure fire on the 1900 block of Craley Road in Lower Windsor. Rescue 1 responded in two minutes with a crew of 7. Chief 41 arrived on the scene to find a fully involved structure. The second alarm was transmitted shortly after, sending the engine out of 41 to the streets with a crew of 5 in less than a minute. Four additional personnel remained in station to staff the 2nd rescue. While on the scene, crews assisted in numerous exterior operations before wrapping up in just under 3 hours. Thanks to Rescue/Engine Company 79 for providing excellent coverage of our first due while assisting Company 44. |
