•6-1-10 - First Due Smoke in the House• |
At 1905 hours, the alarm went out for the first due house fire in the
200 Block of Walnut Street in Wrightsville Borough. Due to staffing being
in house, Chief 41, the Engine Company, and the Rescue-Engine responded immediately.
As the Chief was arriving on scene with nothing showing, the Engine
Company was laying in from 2nd & Walnut from the plug and the Rescue-Engine
coming in from the west. Crews encountered a light smoke condition within
the residence. The TIC's were in service on all floors with the source
being narrowed down to an electrical outlet. Crews assisted the homeowner
with contacting an electrician and shutting down the electrical source.
Tower 8-1 ventilated the residence, 41-01 box was put in service. |
