•6-10-09 - Two Overturned With One Ejected On The 30 Strip•
At 01:54, Rescue Company 41 along with units from Hellam were dispatched to Route 30 East bound near Accomac Road for a vehicle accident with injuries, class 1.
Shortly after dispatch, the accident was upgraded to entrapment.
Rescues 41-1, and 41-2 responded in one minute with a crew of 10.
Chief 21 arrived on the scene to find a 2-vehicle accident involving a single axle box truck vs. a car with both vehicles overturned.  One patient was ejected from the car and thrown approximately 50 feet.
The patient who was ejected was packaged and transported to the hospital by Springettsbury Twp. EMS with serious injuries.  The driver of the box truck was transported by Eastern York County Ambulance 41 with minor injuries.

Units cleared the scene in about 3 hours after both vehicles were removed.
