•6-17-06 Entrapment On Cool Creek Road In Hellam Township•
At 21:22hrs Saturday evening, Station 41 along with Engine 21 were due in Hellam Township on Cool Creek Road in the area of Woodland Drive for the reported vehicle accident with entrapment. Rescue 41-2 responded with 5 followed by Rescue 1 with 6 personnel. While enroute crews were advised of a RV Camper overturned with entrapment. Rescue 2 arrived confirmed the entrapment, and Chief 41-1 assumed the command, Captain 41 took the Operations. LC Engine 8-1-1 was added to the assignment. Rescue crews went right to work, and could tell it wasn't going to be an easy extrication. Great work by the Engine companies, 21 and 8-1,  with cribbing and the extrication, made the job alot easier and the patient was removed 18 minutes after arrival uninjured and was an EMS sign-off. Crews remained on scene until debris was removed. Hats off to all involved, and Rescue Company 42 (East Prospect) for the transfer assignment.
