•6-17-09 - T-Bone Crash Leaves Two Confined On The ''Hill''•
At 1534 hours Rescue Company 41 was alerted for the vehicle accident on Cool Creek Road near Mt. Pisgah Road in Hellam Township. Both Rescues along with Chief 41 arrived to find a T-bone accident with two victims confined to one vehicle. Chief 41 established the command. The crew from the Rescue Squad began stabilizing the vehicle and providing initial care as other units arrived from Hellam, East Prospect and Columbia #1 Fire Departments.  The Holmatro™ spreader off of Rescue 2 was utilized to pop the passenger side door of the vehicle to gain access to the patients.
After the patients were packaged and loaded into awaiting ambulances, 41 went available in just under an hour.
