•6.2.06: Weekend Kicks Off With 1 Reported Trapped•
Just after an afternoon Thunderstorm Stations 21 & 41 were dispatched to the 500 blk of Kreutz Creek Rd in Hellam Township for the Reported vehicle accident with 1 trapped. Both Rescues were enroute with 11 within 2 minutes. Chief 21 arrived on scene first with the command and advised 1 vehicle into pole with no entrapment. Crews depowered vehicle and were available shortly after. Saturday brought 2 runs for the 41 House. At 05:37 Station 41 along with Tanker 21 were due in Hellam Township on Rt. 30 for a Vehicle Fire. Crews   were unable to locate anything, Deputy 41 placed the box available. The fire was later reported to be in Springettsbury Township. The 2nd run came in the late evening for the vehicle accident with injuries in the Borough, reported to be in the area of Front and Hellam St. R41-2 arrived on the Rt. 462 Bridge, with one vehicle into side of the bridge, and a Class 1 patient. Deputy 41 assumed the command. Rescue crew started patient care, and stabilization of vehicle, while Engine's 41 and LC 8-1-1, took care of depowerment and spill control. Patient was turned over to EMS 7-7-6 upon their arrival. Units were available as vehicle was towed away.
