•6-25-06 York County Mourns The Loss Of A Father• |
Sunday June 25, Chief Paul Schaffer was laid to rest. Chief Schaffer was the known
as the "Father" of the York County Fire School in Emigsville, and also was Fire
Chief for the Alert Fire Company in Manchester Township, Station 24, for 36
years. Captain Livelsberger and Firefighter Smeltzer headed to Manchester Township
today, with Engine 41 to support the family, friends, and fellow brothers of
York County in this great loss to the Fire Service. Chief Schaffer will forever
be remembered in our hearts. Thank You Paul. |
