•7-18-06 - Storms Bring 3 For The "41 House" •
As the storms came rolling in, Wrightsville had 21 personnel in house ready for action.  At 19:30, the 41 volunteers were dispatched for an Automatic Fire Alarm on Woodshed Terrace in the Township.  Engine 41 / Car 41 responded within seconds with a total of 12 personnel with 9 still back at the station to man Rescue 2.  Deputy 41 arrived on scene with normal conditions on alpha, bravo, charlie, delta sides.  The crew from Engine 1 investigated and found it to be a malfunction with the alarm system.  Box 41-13 was cleared at 19:51. 

While Engine 1 was returning to the borough, Lt. Poole and the rest of the Rescue 2 crew noticed the smell of Natural Gas in the area of the firehouse.  Lt. Poole notified the units that cleared the 41-13 box and York County Control of a possible natural gas leak.  The natural gas was comming from an underground line in the area of South 2nd Street and Garden Avenue where construction crews had been working earlier in the day.  The engine crew plugged the leak until Columbia Gas crews arrived.  The incident was cleared at 20:39

The day ended with the 41 QRS & Car 1 responding with 7 to a Class I Medical Assist in the Borough at 22:46.
