•7-23-06 - Odor of Natural Gas in the Structure •
As the day was drawing to an end, the 41 tones were dropped for an odor of natural gas in a structure.  The Engine Company was enroute within 2 minutes with a crew of 8 and Chief 41-1 (Livelsberger) in the seat and Rescue 2 and Car 1 right behind with an additional 8 personnel.  Engine 1 arrived on scene at the 100 block of South Front Street with a 2 story apartment building that was being evacuated. The MSA multigas detector was placed in service by the "Men in Black."  No LEL readings were found.  The incident was handed over to Columbia Gas crews.  The 41-01 box was available at 21:48
