•8-11-06 - Busy Day for the 41 Volunteers•
Nearly 6 hours after the 41 Engine returned from the engine company transfer to LC Station 79, the 41 house was racked for a brush fire along U.S. Route 30 at 10:11.  The Wagon went with 5 within 2 minutes.  In addition to that incident, the WFD responded to 2 brush fires, a debris removal, and a pedestrian struck.  The day ended with the 21-27 box being struck for a reported Residential Structure Fire.  Engine 1 was enroute with 7 and Chief 41-1 in 2 minutes with the Rescue Company and the Car following with 8.  Chief 21 arrived on scene and advised of unattended cooking.  The Engine Company arrived at the front door ready to put the 1-1/2" bumper line in service.  The 41 crew established the positive pressure ventilation and cleared the residence of smoke.  Engine 1, Rescue 1, and Car 1 went available 46 minutes after arriving on location.
