•9-8-07 - Vehicle Rescue Training & Stat Medevac Appearance• |

At 07:00 Hours, Rescue Company 41 worked its way to Front and Willow Streets for
vehicle rescue training. The beginning the training was started by a flight nurse on Stat Medevac. He instructed the crew on the best ways of setting up landing zones, and all of the information we should provide. All of our questions were answered professionally by the crew of Stat Medevac. A special thanks goes out to them for taking time to share thier knowledge with us. After the tour of Stat Medevac was completed, we invited the crew to watch a quick extrication of two patients in a mock heavy entrapment. Multiple vehicles made for very challenging extrications throughout the majority of the day. Great job to the 21, 42, 41 crews who pushed themselves through the extreme afternoon heat to continue the training. •CREW: Chief Urey, Deputy Chief Smeltzer, Assistant Chief Livelsberger, Captain Livelsberger, Lieutenant Groft, Lieutenant Poole, Firefighter/EMT Ream, Firefighter/EMT Ryon, Firefighter Leas, Firefighter Livelsberger, Firefighter Crawford, Firefighter Oberdorff, Firefighter Cover, Junior Firefighter Ishman, Junior Firefighter E.
