Afternoon Entrapment On The Hill
Friday, February 10, 2012  - At 1425 Hours, Companies 41 and 21 (Hellam) were dispatched for a vehicle accident with entrapment at the intersection of Cool Creek and Mt. Pisgah roads in Hellam Township.  Rescue Company 41 was enroute in less than a minute with a staffing of 8.  Upon arrival, units found a single vehicle accident with one patient still inside.  The rescue company immediately went to work stabilizing the vehicle and removing the drivers side door to gain access to the patient.  The patient was removed quickly and placed in the care of the ambulance.
Shortly after clearing the crash, Rescue Company 41 was due for a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of Cool Creek Rd. and Hellam St.
